Twitter has finally gotten with the program and is now allowing it’s users to upload a header image.

Unlike Facebook Cover Photos and Linked In’s new cover photo roll out, Twitter cover photos (known as header images) are meant to serve as a backdrop to your bio and Twitter handle info.

There are still some fun ways to personalize your header space though. Check out how we’ve updated our own Twitter header image as well as these 10 Twitter header images done right .

(click on the “gear” in your upper right corner)

3. Click on “Design”

(in your left hand column)
